KS3E
By popular demand, the KSE-1 will be our team's and school's first FSAE-Electric car, along with members from the KSU Electric Vehicle Team.
KS2 (2015 - 2017)
The KS2 included a complete revamp of the car, with a new Yamaha YZF-R6 engine, our team's first aerodynamics package, a new ECU and data acquisition system, a space frame 3x more rigid than KS-1's, and a redesigned suspension to take advantage of the crowd-favorite carbon fiber axles.
The KS-2 competed in Lincoln 2017 as #42.
KS1 (2014 - 2015)
The KS1 was the first car built under after the merger with Kennesaw State University completed. The KS1 was the lightest 4-cylinder Formula car in North America, and won awards for cost and acceleration at competition.
The KS1 competed in Lincoln 2015 as #70 and in Michigan 2016 as #69.
SP14 (2013 - 2014)
The SP-14 was our last year building a car under the SPSU name, so the car sports a mix of SPSU and KSU livery. The SP-14 was our first year running with a spool, the result of some serendipity: our differential broke at competition, meaning we had to make something immediately. The SP-14 finished endurance and won awards for acceleration.
The SP-14 competed in Lincoln and in Michigan.
